Germany's occupation of France brought production to a halt, but all 14 survive to day. Singer Tommy Lee ordered three when he saw it at the New York Auto Show. Another owner, U.S. Olympic bobsledder Freddy McVoy, set a Paris-to-Cannes speed record in his. This particular car was originally purchased by Dr. Masquefa, who kept it in Algiers until 1981. The rare Talbot's current owner, William Conner II, bought it in 1995, had it completely restored over the next two years, and entered it into the 1997 Concours d'Elegance in Pebble Beach - where it won "Best of Show."
